Our Challenge
The Agera group was contracted by Clyde & Co to supply & Install their integrated Security and IT Infrastructure for their new Head Office in Sandton. The solution provided consisted of the following services,
Category 6 LAN Infrastructure & APC data racking and UPS solutions, Lenel Access Control, Hikvision IP surveillance solution, Paradox alarm system, DSTV, Cisco Switching and Wi-FI solution along with relocating of the entire existing Data Centre & desktop environment including new dual monitor solution.
Our Solutions
Security is currently an extremely important feature for a business such as Clyde & Co, whether it be to keep intruders out or to monitor any risk as well as time and attendance of staff entering and exiting the building.
At Clyde & Co we installed Lenel Access control throughout the premises included card readers for entry and no-touch sensors per door. Hikvision CCTV was installed in key areas of the premises including high-risk areas within the office space and doorways. The CCTV system is set up to record motion detection at any given time. We installed a Paradox alarm system on all fire escape and main doors with keypads to activate or de-activate the alarm system access to notify the client of any intrusion or doors being left open. Each floor has its own arming code and can be activated or de-activated by either keypad or application on a cell phone.
Integrated electronic services play an important role for a business such as Clyde & Co to communicate and run the operations and admin functions required. We provided them with their server room move from the old to the new building. We also installed network infrastructure such as network switches, structured cabling, and Wi-Fi to keep the business communication functional at all times.
Agera was also tasked to relocate the staff to their new building and set up their workstations with new monitor arms and double monitors.
